Robbie Williams Flips The Middle Finger During World Cup Opening Ceremony

It would be a memorable presence and the football world would be glad to see Brazil's goal scoring master back on the stage of World Cup.

For the Russian Federation 2018 World Cup opening ceremony, FIFA has announced that Robbie Williams and Aida Garifullina will grace the stadium to bless guests and viewers worldwide with noteworthy musical performances.

These ceremonies are opportunities for the host country to show off their culture and traditions in the form of dancers and performers, and also feature big-name headline acts.

Former Brazil striker Ronaldo - known as "O Fenomeno" - will also be taking part in the opening ceremony, Federation Internationale de Football Association said. With around 80000 people around the world, the opening ceremony of World Cup 2018 was a real stunner. The FIFA governing body is somewhat out of touch with Global musical trends, seeing as Will Smith made the cut as a honoree.

After all, if you can get away with flipping off the world, wouldn't you do it?

Following a rousing presentation of Let Me Entertain You, Williams was joined by Russian soprano Aida Garifullina, a vision in white for a duet of Robbie's chart-topping single "Angels".

"The image that I will be presenting to the whole world will be very symbolic and associated with a dream coming to life". The ball to be used in this inaugural match was sent into space in March, and was returned to earth earlier in June.

Another added: "Robbie Williams is such a melt showing his middle finger!"

Operatic singer Aida Garifullina then outdid everyone by arriving on a big mechanical phoenix, before duetting with Robbie on "Angels".

Willians was also lamented for performing at the event opened by controversial Russian President Vladimir Putin. As the Country president walked away, the Federation Internationale de Football Association president, Gianni Infantino spoke a few words and signaled to start this mega tournament.

The Russian fans inside Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium could hardly have asked for a better start to the tournament, as the glitzy ceremony was followed by the host nation demolishing Saudi Arabia 5-0.
