Nebraska Labor Commissioner John Albin says the state's total labor force and number of employed workers were both up over the month and over the year.
In Albania's population of 2.87 million, unemployment rate among men was 13.7 percent in the end of 2017, while among women it was 12.9 percent, INSTAT said. Van Wert County's rate was 3.8 percent in January and December.
Maine's unemployment rate has been below 4 percent for 26 consecutive months, the longest period since the current method of measuring the rate was implemented in 1976, the department said.
The state has now recovered 100 percent of the jobs lost during the 2008-10 recession. However, the state's rate fell in line with the majority of Alabama counties without the seasonal adjustment.
Though the total unemployment level in SC rose by 2,299 people from December to January, Buoyea says the figure is still within the "steady range" expected by the state. The number of unemployed residents, at 2,300, remained flat compared with the prior year. The release pegged Cass County unemployment at 4.1 percent. The results reportedly outpaced the expectations of economists, who had anticipated that about 200,000 jobs would be added in the month.
Manufacturing added 2,400 jobs, mostly in nondurable goods manufacturing (1,600). Most of the hiring occurred in administrative and support services (+3,000), while management of companies decreased 1,300. The leisure and hospitality sector saw the second-largest numeric growth, for an increase of 1,300 jobs or 1.4 percent. The February report will be released on March 23.
Florida's overall growth rate for previous year was 1.8 percent, which was the 10th highest rate in the nation.
