Though the brand has not revealed which smartphone it is going to launch, with the latest teaser, it is somewhat confirmed that it will launch Xiaomi Redmi 5 in India. This is because Xiaomi has always been known to provide better, affordable products and this could mark the beginning of Xiaomi's launch-spree in the TV market as well.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 operates on the basis of the Snapdragon 450 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz and graphics processor Adreno 506.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 is said to be an entry-level smartphone and will succeed the Redmi 4.
The Redmi 5A (2GB RAM + 16GB storage) price in India is back to the original Rs. 5,999.
Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro which starts at Rs 9,999 and is pegged at a higher segment.
One will have to wait till March 14 to know the rest of the details.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 will succeed the Redmi 4, which has done exceptionally well in India. The company has officially announced that the smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon. Its elder sibling, the Redmi 5, is expected to arrive in India at an event rumoured for March 14. The resolution of the display is 720×1440 pixels. Redmi 5A 2GB storage variant will now be available for its original starting price of Rs 5,999.
The 43-inch Mi TV 4C priced at Rs 27,999 is expected to boost a FullHD display panel, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage specs. It will also come with an expansion option with which you can simply expand the memory of the device upto 128GB by using an external microSD card.
Furthermore, the device would be running on an Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. At the back of the phone there is a 12MP camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture and for selfies and video calling there is a 5MP camera on the front.
Also there is mention of the battery at 6000 mAh, but believe in it with great difficulty - in case Lenovo S5 will get the same screen at 6 inches, then developers will have to donate a minimum thickness of the housing to establish a battery.
