A man has pleaded not guilty to stealing actress Frances McDormand's Oscar after Sunday's ceremony.

Bryant was charged with one felony count of grand theft Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

It's not clear if Bryant had a ticket to the Governors Ball, but an AP video, which you can watch above, shows him walking alongside McDormand and her entourage as they entered the party.

As noted by ABC News, Bryant posted a video to Facebook Sunday night - with the caption "My Oscar baby" - in which he proudly holds the Oscar in his hand, kisses it and claims his "team got this tonight".

The Los Angeles police department said in a statement that the photographer, whom they did not identify, grew suspicious when he failed to "recognize Bryant as a recipient from the awards show".

Frances McDormand celebrated her 90 Academy Awards win with tequila and was gracious enough to share the drink with fellow victor Allison Janney.

Bryant LA resident hired a lawyer who is saying he was just executing a publicity stunt.
