Oprah Winfrey got a sign from certain religious figure about her potential 2020 presidential run while making an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (March 6) in New York City.
Coincidentally enough, a projection purportedly of God appeared on the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theater, where the Late Show is filmed.
"God, take it from me, Oprah, it's going to be OK", she replied. It seems God is gung-ho about an Oprah for president campaign, but, even still, she's not biting on it.
Pleasantries aside, Colbert pressed God to explain the objective of his unannounced visit.
"I'm a huge fan", said the cartoon of God projected on the stained-glass dome atop the Ed Sullivan Theater in NY. So you know what I did?
"I hear thou seeketh a sign", he continued before holding up a sign that read, "Run". God asked Oprah before proceeding to hold up an actual sign reading, "Run!"
When asked by Colbert how the roundtables differed from her long-running talk show, Winfrey said, "I try to be completely unbiased".
"The first time it was a little awkward, and I could tell there were people who didn't want me sitting next to them". "Oprah Winfrey 2020, yes she can!", he added now dressed in full-on Oprah campaign gear. "There it is Oprah, a big endorsement".
"Not really - have you seen this White House?" "Everything's going to be OK and I'm sure you're going to find someone you're just inspired by in 2020".
