Ross was hospitalized early Thursday morning after he was found unresponsive in his Florida home by police and emergency teams, according to Billboard. His next album, "Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill", is expected to be released soon. A source close to Ross told TMZ that the medical issue is heart-related.

A family member strongly denied Rick was hospitalized.

There are also mixed reports about Ross' well-being.

Hip-hop artist Fat Trel contradicted TMZ's report in an Instagram post, saying Ross is "not on 'life support'".

When asked by TMZ if he had any words for Ross, the Hotline Bling hitmaker said: "I'm praying".

Details are emerging surrounding rapper Rick Ross' respiratory issues and it's reported that he's been placed on a life support-based machine to help with his breathing. According to reports, although not confirmed, the Miami rhymer reportedly suffered a heart attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Ross, 42, has a history of seizures, including two in one day in 2011.

"I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving - me being a hustler", he said.

Ross is no stranger to health scares. He revealed in 2016 that he lost 75 pounds thanks to lifestyle changes.

While we wait to hear any more news about Rick Ross and his condition, we'll continue to keep him in our thoughts and hope for a full recovery. While speaking with "The Breakfast Club", Ross said, "You know, I never did it because I always thought, like, I would end up [expletive] a female rapper and [expletive] the business up".
