Ross was hospitalized early Thursday morning after he was found unresponsive in his Florida home by police and emergency teams, according to Billboard. His next album, "Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill", is expected to be released soon. A source close to Ross told TMZ that the medical issue is heart-related.
A family member strongly denied Rick was hospitalized.
There are also mixed reports about Ross' well-being.
When asked by TMZ if he had any words for Ross, the Hotline Bling hitmaker said: "I'm praying".
Details are emerging surrounding rapper Rick Ross' respiratory issues and it's reported that he's been placed on a life support-based machine to help with his breathing. According to reports, although not confirmed, the Miami rhymer reportedly suffered a heart attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Ross, 42, has a history of seizures, including two in one day in 2011.
"I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving - me being a hustler", he said.
Ross is no stranger to health scares. He revealed in 2016 that he lost 75 pounds thanks to lifestyle changes.
