The weather service said several roads in Ashley and Chicot counties in southeastern Arkansas were flooded.

The watch includes the counties of Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Muskogee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and Sequoyah.
Thunderstorms expected to roll through the state today - some potentially unsafe - are forecast to drop as much as 4 more inches of rain.
"Excessive runoff from these thunderstorms will cause minor flooding, which will affect areas in and around Nolan Creek". "This will contribute to a significant risk of flash flooding", the service said in a warning.
Our first round of rainfall will arrive overnight and linger through 7:00 A.M. ET or 8:00 A.M. ET Friday morning. It is possible that flooding could close the "bathtub" section of Interstate 376, River Avenue on the North Shore and Washington Boulevard. The warning is in effect until Sunday afternoon. Flood stage at Point Pleasant is 40 feet.
