Droid-Life claims that the Moto G6 Plus features a beefier 5.9-inch Full HD+ (18:9) display, a souped-up Snapdragon 630 CPU, 3/4/6GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage, a dual-camera configuration (12MP + 5MP) like the Moto G6 and a 16MP selfie shooter. However, the new rumors and leaks and today's listing reveals that the company will launch the Moto G6 Play smartphone alongside the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play smartphone as well. The Moto G series was primarily created to strike a balance between strong features and affordability, so even though the handset's launch price is now unknown, it's likely that the lineup will follow the same strategy as before.
In his previous report about the Moto G6 series, Blass said that Lenovo has skipped the G6 lineup for the Moto G5S lineup. Android Headlines has now posted an alleged render of the Moto G6 Plus, revealing the phone's design. The listing also suggests the smartphone will be equipped with 3GB of RAM. A 3250mAh battery will power the device, and Android 8.0 Oreo will come pre-installed on the phone.
The Moto G6 Play also scored 472 and 1801 points in Geekbench's single and multi-core tests respectively.
Furthermore, the Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play smartphone will have a front mounted Fingerprint Scanner while the Moto G6 smartphone will have the Fingerprint Scanner at the back panel. The handset will sport a 5.7-inch display with lower HD resolution. As the expected release date draws closer, more details of the phones are beginning to show up online. However, we can expect that the new Moto G6 smartphones will be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2018 next week at Barcelona, Spain. Stay tuned for more updates.
