Drake Spotted Filming Official 'Gods Plan' Video In Miami High School & It Already Looks Fire

A teacher from the Miami high school posted a series of photos and detailed her experience while Drake filmed on campus.

Later in the day, Drake rolled up to the University of Miami, where he awarded a biology student, Destiny James, a $50,000 scholarship in front of the Frost School of Music, before offering an impromptu performance on the Moss Terrace in the Donna E. Shalala Student Center.

Drake made a surprise visit to Miami Senior High School on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018. "Drake told me that he has read great things about me and appreciates how hard I've worked through so many trials and chose to give me $50K for my tuition", James wrote on Facebook.

Drake popped up at Destiny's school by surprise, after being told that she was going to shoot a video on the importance of scholarships.

Drake surprised a University of Miami student with a wonderful monetary donation. From Intel's Shooting Star drones at Lady Gaga's halftime show to Eminem's aerial album cover reveal in Detroit, UAVs are becoming part of productions across industries.


Drake's "God's Plan" is about to be the biggest record in his catalog. The video for the single was shot at Miami Senior High School earlier today and the rapper allowed the students to pop up for cameo appearances.

"I appreciate him a lot as an artist, so I was very glad I was able to see him", said a UM student.

Drake donated $25,000 to the school and announced that all students would be getting uniforms he designed himself, WPLG also reported.

He shared: "Seems like every time we look up, you're setting another milestone or breaking another record and I always tell you that you're one of the most inspirational people in my life".

When asked by ABC News if she had a message for Drake, she said, "Thank you".
