Kylian Mbappe excited by 'extraordinary' chance to play with Neymar at PSG

Pele: Neymar right to step out of Lionel Messi's shadow

Mbappe understanding of Monaco fans let down by move to PSG

Speaking at his unveiling at the Parc des Princes, the striker from the Parisian suburb of Bondy - something PSG emphasised, along with his childhood support, throughout - said he was convinced the club will win the Champions League.

KYLIAN MBAPPE HAS said that he will not let any transfer fee weigh upon him at Paris Saint-Germain.

"We weighed up all the offers I received and I made a decision to join Paris Saint-Germain because this is the project that will help me develop while I win titles".

The Brazilian moved to the French capital for a world record £198m earlier this summer, breaking up the famous "MSN" trio of Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, which had helped the Catalan club achieve trophy-laden success.

"Yes, I met with Arsene Wenger, who is a great coach", Mbappe said.

"He is an additional advantage", said Mbappe.

He revealed on several occasions that he initially planned to stay another season with Monaco.

"For me, the price is what it is, it's not going to change my way of playing and it's not something that's going to worry me", he said.

"It's putting everything in place to make that goal more than possible and that's important to me".

Mbappe took the football world by storm last season firing AS Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and into the Champions League quatre-finals.

"It was important not to leave France".

The French star added that it would be extraordinary to be able to play alongside Brazil forward Neymar, who recently joined PSG from Barcelona.

PSG chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi faced questions at the unveiling about UEFA opening a financial fair play investigation into the club. "We paid everything in a transparent way".
