The rapper's Sunday night show in Las Vegas (local time) was cancelled after he suffered a seizure in Chicago, according to TMZ. In July 2016, Lil Wayne canceled a performance at TAO after his plane had to make an emergency landing after he suffered several seizures in the air.
He told DJ Felli Fel: "This wasn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh.I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them".
Lil Wayne has had another epileptic seizure.
His representative confirmed to the celebrity site that he had suffered multiple seizures.
Just last month, a Miami man with ties to both Wayne and Chris Brown was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison after being convicted of armed drug trafficking. According to TMZ.com, Wayne had suffered at least one seizure and suffered another in the hospital. She took to Twitter after her father was hospitalized for suffering multiple seizures.
His condition now stabilized, Lil Wayne has no choice other than to rest. In fact, it was just previous year that he had to cancel an appearance in Las Vegas because of his epilepsy. His heart rate had lowered to nearly 30%, and he nearly died in an Intensive care Unit in Los Angeles.
Persons are diagnosed with epilepsy if they have one or more seizures not caused by a known and reversible medical condition, such as low blood sugar or withdrawal from drugs.
The situation put Young Money label mates, Nicki Minaj and Drake, in an awkward position to have to choose a side to be on - Wayne who is responsible for launching their career, or Birdman who started it all.
The rapper is next scheduled to perform on Sept.17 at the Paid Dues Festival in LA.
