In the video, Geralt reminisces about the adventures he's had over the last decade and breaks the fourth wall by thanking the player for accompanying him on the ride. To celebrate The Witcher's tenth anniversary, CD Projekt Red have put together a sweet video full of old friends and I'm not going to pretend it hasn't made me a wee bit teary.
The video shows Ciri entering Geralt's vineyard in Toussaint in the midst of a party. Throughout his monologue, we can see Geralt is surrounded by a sea of familiar faces - but who is who? Be warned: fans of the series may find watching the clip is like receiving a punch right in the feels.
Zoltan is playing Gwent with Dandelion, Triss and Yennefer are chatting by the door, and Eskel and Lambert are talking with Ves and Keira respectively. Originally released exclusively for PC in late 2007, The Witcher was an incredibly hardcore RPG that followed the suave, yet somewhat grizzled Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher who hunts down creatures that go bump in the night.
It's easy to forget just how great The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was when we first played it. It's a minor spoiler for The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine DLC but still worth watching. Still, CD Projekt RED hasn't moved on completely from the wider Witcher universe yet.
